Reaching out for support is the first step to making healthy changes for your life. I am glad you found me for that journey and I am happy to share some information about myself. I have lived in the bay area for most of my life. I received a B.S. in Marketing from DePaul University and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from John F Kennedy University. I have worked in various community agencies as a clinician and a Clinical Supervisor over the years seeing adults and adolescents. I have also maintained a private practice in Oakland California. In my personal time I enjoy outdoor activities, spending quality time with friends and family and traveling.
My work with clients focuses on helping people to address emotional issues that arise, to develop a greater strength and capacity to address issues from past and present and to experience greater fulfillness and authenticity. My style is interactive and approachable. I incorporate mindfulness, emotionally focused, somatic and cognitive approaches depending on what is needed.
